News, Events & Training
The originally planned event that was focusing on the Cape
Cod Emergency Traffic Plan, and SMART's role in setting up
a shelter at the Mass Military Reservation, has been
expanded to be more comprehensive for all SMART
volunteers.

Using lessons learned from our deployment to Monson, we
will all review shelter setup, use of forms, intake
procedure (including the computerized system), and then
actually set up a small shelter.  The morning will finish with
a hotwash of the exercise.

SMART's Team Leaders feel that this change in the
program will make the exercise more applicable to any
deployment.

We encourage all of you to attend.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  This training has a new location:

                         The Woods School
                         200 South Street (Route 1A)
                         Plainville, MA

The Woods school is located next to the Plainville Library
Registration starts at 8:30am
Exercise will begin promptly at 9am and will end no later
than 1pm
PLEASE NOTE:  If you have already registered for this event
then you do not need to register again.  If you can no
longer attend please email smartmass1@gmail.com
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at this event!
